Cheer the hero (Dick Dashing) and sigh for the lovely heroine (Elinore Elsinore) as they strive to foil the evil plans of the villainous (Hattie Hateful) and villain (Samuel Scrounge.) Hattie and Samuel plot to dupe Mrs. Gertrude Gotrocks out of her fortune. Their evil plan, of course, is foiled in the nick of time! The first act takes place in the Gotrock mansion.
